About Us

For 20 years, Shimmer by Cindy® has been a part of my life and so many of yours.

My love of jewelry began long before Shimmer. I grew up surrounded by my mother’s treasured jewelry collection, especially an iconic brooch that first sparked my fascination with pieces that were not only beautiful, but carried stories, memories, and meaning.

In 2006, I took that love of jewelry to my kitchen table and began creating pieces of my own. What started with handcrafted jewelry eventually grew into designing and manufacturing my own collections and developing the timeless, feminine style that has become distinctly Shimmer.

Twenty years later, I’m ready for Shimmer to evolve again.

As Founder, Designer, and now Creative Director, I’m excited to expand my role at Shimmer, continuing to design while also shaping the overall creative direction of the brand and bringing a new perspective to what we offer.

With the new Shimmer Edit, I’ll be personally selecting jewelry I discover and genuinely love. After two decades of designing, doing shows, speaking to clients, I know what catches my eye and theirs: the details, quality, wearability, and that certain something that makes a piece feel special. These are pieces that I choose for myself, I love and wear and now I get to choose them for you.

My own designs will continue to be an important part of Shimmer through Signature Shimmer, home to the collections and pieces I’ve created throughout the years. These collections truly are timeless and transcend seasons and I’ve designed them to stand the test of time.

And most importantly, Shimmer for the Cure remains at the heart of our brand. I’ll continue designing jewelry for the initiative while growing our charitable partnerships, raising awareness, and finding new ways to use Shimmer to make a difference.

This next chapter isn't about changing what Shimmer has always been. It's about building on it, bringing together the jewelry I create, the beautiful pieces I discover, and the purpose that continues to mean so much to me.

Twenty years later, I still believe jewelry can mark a moment, hold a memory, tell a story, and sometimes even make a difference. Onward we go.
