Shimmer by Cindy® was founded in 2005.  It was born out of my love for making jewelry and my desire to bring these designs to you.   My company began on the principle that the best designs come through direct customer input.  With this in mind I created the Shimmering Inspirations® Custom Collection, my exclusive line that allows my customers to become the designer.

As my company has continued to evolve, I wanted to expand and carry a line that would be inexpensive, versatile, yet offer my customers a different type of shimmer.  So I created my Simply Shimmer Collection.   It is in this collection that I have found the best pieces that represent the latest trends, of color, texture and types of metal.  My expansion didn’t just extend to jewelry.  The next place I found myself was incorporating this "shimmer" onto T-shirts and tanks.  I found that shimmery apparel was in demand and with these I could create bold statements that were both fun and could help support a good cause. 

While expansion is good, I also believe you must do good things with it.  So I looked even further and found my charitable voice.   I discovered that with an innovative design I could help put my own little spotlight on a worthy cause.  I did just that when I created my Shimmer for the Bear bracelet & tank which helped raise money for the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation.   This is one of the several charities I have supported through the years and what this has taught me is that no voice is ever to small.

In these past five years Shimmer by Cindy® has grown not only in the products we carry, but to the places my Shimmer is found.   What started up locally is now found on customers throughout the United States, Canada, Europe & even Australia, a far distance from where we first began.  What has added to my excitement is that they have been highlighted in both the Daily Herald, Northwest Herald newspapers, and on NBC 5 Chicago. 

So it is with great enthusiasm and gratitude that I continue on making the commitment to you to strive for excellence, never losing sight of my initial idea, and always bringing you quality products that shimmer.
